Reason taken
Chronic nerve pain from degenerative disks - 2 in my neck (c5/c6/c7) and 2 in my back (l4/l5/s1). I previously took gabapintin/neurontin for nerve pain and it didn't really do anything, so I didn't expect Lyrica to work, but it has helped me be more functional and live my live much more normally. I may still get sore occasionally, but the 24x7 never ending pain is gone and that is significant

It tends to make me tired - not when I take it (at night), but I sometimes have a hard time getting up in the morning when I have taken it - I may sleep through an alarm or if the alarm doesn't get set properly, I can sleep a long long time.
Comments on Lyrica
Even with the sleepiness, The Lyrica is well worth taking because it helps the nerve pain I feel deep inside my shoulders and hips that is caused from the bone to bone contact due to my lack of spinal disks.
